BRUUN, KARL KRISTIAN (KRIS) - It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that Amalie, Fredrik and Kristian Bruun announce the sudden passing of their beloved father, Karl Kristian (Kris) Bruun on August 8, 2002. Predeceased by his loving parents, Karl Ragnar Bruun and Kate Bruun (nee Warburton). He is survived by his dear sister Harriet and her husband Jim Leggett of St. Andrew's, NB, his cousin Karl Bruun of Carleton Place, ON, and by the ever supportive mother of his children, Hilary Bruun (nee Bonnycastle). Many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family both in North America and in Scandinavia mourn his passing. He will also be missed by his many friends and admirers both in Toronto and in New Brunswick. Those who had the good fortune of coming into contact with Dad over his almost 60 years will no doubt remember his charm, wit and unmistakable laugh. Dad was a wonderful, generous and kind human being whose presence will be missed by all. The overwhelming anguish felt by his death will only be overcome by the many wonderful memories we have of him. Dad, we love you with all our hearts and you will never be forgotten. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Grace Church on-the-Hill, 300 Lonsdale Road (at Russell Hill Road) on Tuesday, August 13 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
