ZWICKER, AUSTIN HOWARD - Austin Howard Zwicker, 91, of White Head, Grand Manan, passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in White Head, he was the son of the late Frank and Grace (Bancroft) Zwicker. Mr. Zwicker was a member of the White Head Baptist Church, and a retired fisherman. He is survived by three daughters Mrs. Lillian Boyd (Rev. John) of Rothesay, Mrs. Arlene Cran (Winburo) Gorham, Maine, Dorothy, Daggett (Blaine) of White Head, twelve grandchildren, three step grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren. Mr. Zwicker was predeceased by his wife Florence (Trecartin) 1996, one daughter Ruth, one sister Madge, two brothers, Cline and Douglas Visitation will be held at White Head Baptist Church on Friday, August 30th, 2-4, 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Boyd officiating, assisted by Rev. Jim Appleby. With interment to follow in the family plot White Head Community Cemetery.
