July 2, 1963-July 3, 2008 Robert Paul Duffney passed away after a brief illness with cancer on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, the day after his 45th birthday. Robert Paul was born in South Bar to the late Jeremiah and Gertude Duffney. He is survived by two brothers, Jerry (Rozanne), Lingan, Martin (Nancy), New Waterford; and by three sisters, Vaunda (Robert Fyfe), Bracebridge, Ont., Therese (Tom Henderson), Three Mile Plains, N.S., and Bernadette, Iron Mines, N.S. No funeral service by request. Donations in his memory may be made to L’Arche Cape Breton, 3 L’Arche Lane, Whycocomagh, N.S., B0E 3M0, or a charity of ones choice.
