87 Gordon Doncaster, 87, of Taigh Na Mara Guest Home, formerly of Marion Bridge, passed away Saturday, July 5, at the Glace Bay Healthcare Unit. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Eugene and Kate Emma (MacDonald) Doncaster. Gordon was in the Royal Canadian Air Force, then employed with Priscilla’s of Boston before his retirement. Gordon is survived by his sister, Pearl. He was predeceased by sisters, Eileen and Vivian; brothers, Earl, Norman, Ralph, Stewart, Murray and Lloyd. There will be no visitation. A private family service will take place with Rev. Fraser MacDonald officiating. Interment in Dutch Brook Cemetery.
