
MAURICE MICHAUD
MICHAUD, MAURICE - At Everett, N.B., (near Riley Brook), December 21, 2002, Mr. Maurice Michaud of Saint-Andre passed away suddenly. He was married to the former Marie-Reine Beaulieu. Born at Drummond in 1943, he was a son of the late Arthur Michaud and of Claire Michaud. Mr. Michaud was a potato farmer and the owner of Michaud Equipment, an agricultural machinerie distributor in Saint-Andre. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, council 7222 of Saint-Andre and 4th degree, of the 1907 Rev. Irenee St-Amand Assembly. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Carole Michaud (Luc D'Ambremont St-Louis) of Hull, Quebec and Lucie McGuinness (Paul) of Riley Brook, granddaughter, Sophie, his mother, Mrs. Claire Michaud, resident of the Grand Falls Manor, two sisters and one brother, Gertrude Pelletier (Roland) and Gaitan Michaud (Sharon) of Saint-Andre and Micheline Cyr (Jean-Marie) of Grand Falls, as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 24th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church, with Father Ghislain Remillard officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Regional Food Bank or the Foundation of the Friends of the Grand Falls General Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Members of the Knights of Columbus will meet for prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. 4th degree members will stand guard Monday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Arrangements are by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls. www.oregans.ca
