HAWKINS, RUTH D. - The death of Ruth Dale (Risser) Hawkins of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Thursday, January 2, 2003 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she is the daughter of the late Ronald and Mary (Richards) Risser. Ruth is survived by one daughter Sherry Lynn Hawkins, 3 grandchildren Sheldon, Corey, and Craig Hawkins, several cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one son Thane Hawkins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, January 5, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 6, 2003 from St. Rose of Lima Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
