SEARS, RAYMOND V. - Raymond (Ray) V. Sears, 59, of Moncton passed away at his residence on Friday January 3, 2003. Born in Hicksville, son of Robina (Thorne) Sears McQuinn of Sussex, and the late Victor Sears. Ray was President of Ritchie V. Manor II and Sears Residence. He was President of Canaan Lodge Inc. for several years and loved his time at Thornes Brook. Member of the Board of Directors of Moncton Employment and Training Services, Past President of the Moncton Flying Club, former member of the BPOE Elks Lodge, Tweedie Lodge # 41 F and AM, and former member of the Jaycees Junior Achievement Program. Ray worked for 31 years in the Insurance Appraisal Business until his new career in 1997 as a Special Care Home Operator. He loved his family and his extended family by diligently working in his Special Care Homes. He enjoyed flying, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his family. Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by his wife Debbie Teakles; Daughter; Cst.
