
ELDON L. DUNLOP
DUNLOP, ELDON L. - Eldon Lansford Dunlop, resident of the Ridgewood Veterans Wing, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Monday, March 31, 2003. He was the husband of Martha (Baetens) Dunlop. He was born on October 25, 1912 in Maccan N.S. son of Henrietta and John Dunlop. Eldon was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas with the 1st Battalion Black Watch. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Amherst, N.S. He was employed with the Canadian National Railway before his retirement. He is survived by his only daughter Jean Smith and son-in-law Douglas Mollins of Quispamsis, three grandchildren Mark and Marlo of Halifax N.S., Michelle of Quispamsis and one brother Ross of Chignecto N.S. and one sister Ruth Long of Maccan N.S. He was predeceased by his wife Martha and four sisters and eight brothers. A memorial service will be held at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home 154 Hampton Rd. Quispamsis N.B. on Thursday April 3rd at 1 PM. There will be no visiting at the funeral home.
