Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, July 3, 2008, Reverend John "Jack" Green, aged 79 years. Predeceased by his parents, Eleazer and Amelia Green; and brother Percy Green. Leaving to mourn his brothers: Cluny Green (Ivy) and Rev. Charles Green (Loretta); special friend Mary Helen Knee; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday and then from 2-4 pm. on Saturday. Funeral service to be held from Holy Innocents Anglican Church, Paradise, NL on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to be held at The Anglican Cemetery, Topsail, NL. No flowers by request.
