Passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008. Predeceased by his father Lar Murphy, step-father Fred Durdle and mother Patsy Durdle. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Shirley (Geoff), Rhonda (Terry), and Jennifer; sisters: Mary (Craig) Skanes, Shirley (Rick) Taylor; brother Stephen Payton (Myrtle); grandchild Dawson, nieces: Marie, Stephanie; nephews: Beau, Stephen and Tim, also a large circle of other family members and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday from 2-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted.
