McLEOD, RONALD LeROY - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 7, 2003 Ronald LeRoy McLeod of Saint John companion of Dorothy Fairweather. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late Edgar and Gladys (Byers) McLeod. Mr. McLeod was retired as a Longshoreman and was a member of Local 273 and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving in addition to his companion Dorothy are two brothers Norman and his wife Betty Bridgeo, Vernon and his wife Marj Kyle all of Saint John and one sister Viola Oliver of Grand Bay-Westfield. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Saturday August 9, 2003 at 11 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Field of Honor Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Friday August 8, 2003 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A tribute to a veterans service will be held on Friday evening.
