Passed peacefully away on July 4, 2008 at Chancellor Park at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn nephews: Eric (Jessie), Phillip (Liz), Frank, Alan (Goldie); nieces: Doris (Ian), Marguerite (Clarence), June (Greg) and many great-nephews and nieces. After spending 30 years in the nursing profession, Hester retired in the mid 70's to relax and enjoy her love of travel. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of 2 East for their excellent care. We would also like to say a very special thank you to Dr. Pat O'Shea for his wonderful compassion and care. A memorial service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date at the Anglican Cemetery in Burin.
