Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth G. Wheeliker, 97, formerly of Tower Road and Salem Road, Loch Lomond, who passed away at the Glace Bay Healthcare Complex on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Bonnar) Graham. She was a loving and caring person. Elizabeth loved to fish and hunt, as well as camping. She travelled throughout the United States and Canada. She will be sadly missed by her son, Jack (Pat), Glace Bay; daughters, Carol (Gordon) Mercer, Tower Road, Sheila (Jose) DeSousa, Rhode Island, and Anne (Alex) Spencer, Broughton; sister, Annabel Hazelton, Rhode Island; daughter-in-law, Mae Graham, Tower Road; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 14 great great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack, sons, Edwin, Graham, Allan and John, daughters, Betty and Christina, grandson, Brian, brothers, George and Dan Graham. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday, 11 a.m. with Martha MacDonald, LMIT officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
