BUCKLE, FRANCES L. (GIGGEY) - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 11, 2004, Frances Lillian Buckle of Saint John wife of the late G. Raymond Buckle. Born in Saint John on June 6, 1914 she was the daughter of the late W. Roy and Lillian (Turner) Giggey. Mrs. Buckle was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Broad Street. She was employed at the General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital as a Ward Secretary after the death of her husband in 1968 until her retirement in 1985. She was very active with the Saint John Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the Thistle Curling Club. She is survived by one son David and his wife Cynthia of Rothesay, N.B., two daughters Joanne Deichmann and her husband Henrik of Summerville, N.B., Shawn Stubbert and her husband John of Fredericton, one brother William Giggey and his wife Connie of Saint John, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Raymond, brother Robert Giggey, sisters Jean White, Marjorie Leggett and Lois Devlin. The family would like to thank Extra Mural and 3D South of the Saint John Regional Hospital and her Care Givers for their support. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral Service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Wednesday January 14, 2004 at 1 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Tuesday fom 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Following the interment, a reception will take place at the "Fallsview" Family Reception Center.
