EVELYN ELVA ARMOUR

ARMOUR, EVELYN ELVA - The death of Evelyn Elva Armour of North Lake, wife of the late Emery D. Armour, occurred on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born in Elmwood, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Maude (Griffin) Carr. Mrs. Armour is survived by four daughters, Marjorie Farrell (Paul) of North Lake, Gladys Foster (Marvin) of North Lake, Ruth Boone (Russell) of Moncton, and Donna Schwerdel (Hans) of Eel River Lake; nine grandchildren, Cameron Farrell (Rhonda), Becky Betts (Edward), Kevin Farrell (Janie), Gregory Foster (Jane) Lucille MacDonald (Gregory), Tracy Foster (Luann), Richard Boone, Debra Finigan (James), and Patricia Hatcher (Trent); ten great grandchildren, Angela Foster, Amy Foster, Lance Farrell, Erika MacDonald, Jordan MacDonald, Jessica MacDonald, Adam Finigan, Kyle Farrell, Julie Hatcher, and Emily Hatcher; two sisters, Helena "Pat" Culligan of Woodstock and Lillian Williams (John) of Debec; a brother, Fred Carr of Jacksonville; a sister-in-law, Audrey Collins (Fred) of Surrey, British Columbia; three brothers-in-law, Philip Armour (Katherine) of Smyrna Mills, Maine, O. Richard Armour (Dorothy) of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, and Lewis Armour (Kay) of Woodstock; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by two sisters, Eunice Sproul and Faye Orr; and two brothers, Floyd Carr and Alan Carr. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Beverly Brazier will officiate, with interment to follow in the McKenzie Corner United Church Cemetery.
