GALLOP, GORDON 'DARYL' - The death of Gordon 'Daryl' Gallop, husband of Phyllis (Cosman) Gallop, occurred on October 23, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late J Harold and Lillie (Fisher) Gallop. He was an electrician by trade retiring from Saint John Ship Building Ltd. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed "old" country music and was an avid record collector. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Reginald Wilson and his wife Gail of Saint John, his daughters Barbara Beaudry of Altona, Manitoba, Charlotte Bausman of Saint John, Lisa and her husband Kevin McKenzie of Saint John, his brothers Robert and his wife Joan, Roy and his wife Ann, all of Saint John, his grandchildren David, Carol, Ronald, Chandra, Ken and Lee, Donald, Christina, his great grandchild Malachi and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View memorial Gardens.
