MITCHELL, EILEEN C. - The death of Eileen C. Mitchell of Waasis, NB occurred on November 18th, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Eileen was born in Keswick Ridge, NB. Eileen enjoyed knitting, crocheting and bingo. She loved gardening both in her flower and vegetable gardens. She is survived by her husband, John of Waasis, NB; her mother, Mary Yerxa (Barr) of Fredericton, NB; her children, Stephen Jewett (Sue), Michael Mitchell (Toni), Timothy Mitchell (Suellen), Kary Pike (Michael) all of Waasis, NB, Brian Mitchell of Victoria, BC, Daryl Jewett (Andria) of Prince George, BC, Terry Sturgeon (Donnie) of Traceyville, NB; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Nikki, Crystal, Ashlee, Erin, Melissa, Eieesha, Nicholas, Shyanne, Mark, James, Tiffaney, Kayla, Mikey; two half brothers, Roy Barr of Saint John, NB, Hazen Barr of Fredericton, NB; two half sisters, Joyce Jewett of Edmonton, AB and Deborah Conway of Rexton, NB; her K9 companion, Sami and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Roy and Lydia Yerxa; one half brother and one half sister. Visitation will be at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, November 20th, 2004 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, November 21st, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, November 22nd, 2004 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Weir as celebrant.
