WILLIAMS, ARTHUR EDWARD - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on January 12, 2005, Mr. Arthur Edward Williams, in his 57th year, husband of Lois Arlene (Beney) Williams of Pocologan, NB. Artie was born in Saint John on February 12, 1948, and was a son of the late Ulmont (Benny) Arthur Williams and Doris Melvina (Justason) Williams. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Artie is survived, besides his wife, by one daughter, Lori (Junior Burt) of Pocologan; two sons, Michael (Daphne) Williams of St. George and Russell Williams of Pocologan; three grandchildren, Kyle Gagne, Julia Gagne and Emma Williams; one sister, Nancy (Mrs. Donald Waugh) of Saint John; two aunts, Louise (Art) Gillmor of Bonny River and Clara McLean of New River; three uncles, Maurice Justason of Oromocto, Ernest Justason of Red Head and Murray Justason of Sussex; several cousins, two nieces and two nephews. He was pre-deceased by one daughter, Mary Eileen. Artie was an avid hunter, flounder fisherman and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially at his camp. At Artie's request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home in The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 15th at 2 pm, with Rev. Bruce Alcorn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (Atlantic Division), or a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
