LESLIE, EDITH MARION - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on January 12, 2005, Mrs. Edith Marion Leslie, wife of Ronald Leslie Jr. of Fairhaven, NB. Born in Eastport, Maine, on March 1st, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Mabel and James Hooper Sr.. Besides her husband, she is survived by five sisters, Shirley Phinney of Eastport, ME, Hazel Miller of Bangor, ME, Mabel Henderson Hooper (James) of Eastport, Joanne Jellotta (Harold) of Eastport, Ellenor Whalen (Bruce) of Mill Creek, Washington; two brothers, Bruce Hooper (Ellen) of Bangor and Richard Hooper (Mary) of Greenboro, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Hooper and Joyce Hooper. Edith was pre-deceased by one son, David Leslie; three sisters, Mabel Guptill, Daphne Wentworth and Rena Barlee; two brothers, Ralph Hooper and James Hooper Jr. Edith was a member of the Fairhaven Baptist Church, Fairhaven, NB. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB, from where the service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm in the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating, followed by interment in Calder's Head Cemetery, Fairhaven. There will be visiting at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
