
KENNETH A.W. THIBODEAU
THIBODEAU, KENNETH A.W. - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 21, 2005, Kenneth A.W. Thibodeau of Grand Bay-Westfield, husband of Kathy (Mildred) (Armstrong) Thibodeau. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late George and Dora (Craft) Thibodeau. Kenneth was a veteran of the Second World War and also a veteran of the Korean War from 1950 to 1954. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2, a member of the ILA Local 273 and a member of St. George's Anglican Church. Surviving in addition to his wife Kathy are three sons, Kenneth Thibodeau (Linda) of Kitchener, Ont., Daniel Newman of Wirral and Jim Thibodeau of William's Lake, B.C.; four daughters Beverly Sullivan of Saint John West, Jane Roy (Raymond) of Rothesay, Judy Long (Bruce) of Martinon and Sandra Russell of Miramichi; three sisters Joy Curwin of Saint John West, Shirley Bridges (Alfred) of Saint John West and Janet Duplessis of Saint John; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; one grandchild Frank Russell; three brothers Bernard, Leo and George; and two sisters Dorothy Wilson and Betty Murray. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Duke Street, Saint John West on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 1 pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Visiting at Fallsview on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. A tribute to a veteran service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 7 pm Following the interment, a reception will be held at St. George's Anglican Church Hall.
