ANNE MAY HOLDER

HOLDER, ANNE MAY - Anne Holder, age 78, wife of the late Gordon E. Holder, of Norton, NB, died peacefully, with her family at her bedside, on February 8, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Eleanor (Northrup) Armstrong. Anne is survived by daughters; Marilyn Munroe, Kingston, and Carol Anne and Mike Foster, Saint John, son; Jim and Bonnie Holder, Kingston, beloved grandchildren: Terri Munroe, Scott and Meagan Foster, Eric and Amanda Holder, great granddaughter; Calla Dawn, sister; Alice Coy, Fredericton, and "Dear Best Friend" Harold Arnold, Sussex, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; Frank, James, Harry, and George, and sisters; Vera, Florence, Viola, Jean and Kay. In the past Anne had been very active in her church and community. A member of St. Luke's Anglican, Norton, she was a Lay Reader and ACW member for many years. She was Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and received high recognition for her work with the Boy Scouts of Canada. She was also a member of the LOBA #39. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Ascension, 2980 Route 121, Apohaqui, on Saturday, February 12, 2005. Interment in St. Simon and St Jude's Cemetery, Belleisle Creek, NB.
