BARTON, HOWARD EDMOND - Mr. Howard Edmond Barton, husband of Bessie Barton of 231 Delano Ave., Miramichi passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Dr. George Dumont Hospital at the age of 85. Born in Devon, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond and Pearl (Routledge) Barton. He was a retired Insurance adjuster for Morden-Helwig. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a member of Kinsmen K-40. Besides his wife Bessie he is survived by one daughter, Hazel Barton West of Miramichi; one sister, Eillen Sullivan of Saint John, NB; one grandson, Robbie West; one great grandson, Matthew West. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother Leslie Barton. Mr. Howard Barton is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation today from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday evening at 7PM from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Arron Kenny officiating. Burial will be in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John at a later date.
