She is survived by sons David Thornton (Lois); Terry Thornton (Barbara); Brian Thornton (Brenda). Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Sister Eileen Carpenter (Sterling). Brothers Olin Ritchie (Eileen); Floyd Ritchie (Irene); Maurice Ritchie (Barbara). Sister-in-law, Helen Ritchie. Predeceased by her husband Paul Thornton and brother Charles Ritchie. Visitation on Sunday, September 18, 2005 at The Culberson Funeral Home from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. & 7 :00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Monday, September 19, 2005 from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Woodstock at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery , River Road.
