PARKS, RUSSELL HARRIS - The death of Russell Harris Parks, husband of Edith (Harris) Parks of Miramichi, NB occurred on Monday, September 19, 2005 at the age of 78. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Collingwood and Agnes (Mullin) Parks. He was owner of Park's Dairy Bar and worked as a contractor for NBTel for several years. Besides his wife: Edith, Russell is survived by: one son: Ronnie (Betty) of Whitney, NB; two daughters: Heather Hachey (Ron) of Riverview, NB; Donna Foran (Richard) of Miramichi, NB; two sisters: Myrtle Weldon of Miramichi, NB; Edna Allison of Whitney, NB; one brother: Edward of Moncton, NB; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, today from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 2 PM from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Cal MacInnis officiating. Burial will follow in Miramichi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation.
