
LESLIE WOODWORTH BOYLE
BOYLE, LESLIE WOODWORTH - The death of Leslie Woodworth Boyle, in his 87th year, occurred on Sept. 22nd, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Born in Cherryfield, Annapolis Co. Nova Scotia he was the son of the late George and Rebecca Boyle. Leslie was recently predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Neva on June 15th, 2005. He is survived by his son Wayne (Pamela) of Saint John; daughter Paulette Aucoin of Saint John; stepson Kimberly McLaggan of Fredericton; five grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Jason, Trina, and Nicole; four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Hazel Watson, and Agnes Nearing of Saint John, Glennis Boyle of Deep River Ontario, a brother Clarke of Halifax NS, numerous nieces and nephews. Leslie was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Brown and Margaret Pilon and brothers Calvin and Stanley. Leslie was a well known mechanic by trade having worked for companies such as the old Briggs Motors in Saint John, Patriquin Motors in Sussex, Alex & Ross in Moncton and Smith?s Transport (C.P.) in Saint John. He also worked many years for the Corps of Commissionaires before his retirement. Leslie was a veteran of WWII and served overseas with the Princess Louise 8th, Hussars of Sussex. He had resided in Passekeag NB. for 50 years. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visitations on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A tribute to a veteran service will be held on Saturday evening at 7pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday Sept. 26th, 2005 at 11 am from the Fundy Funeral Home ?Chapel?. Interment to follow in the Hampton Rural Cemetery.
