TRAMLEY, MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" - The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Sunday, September 25th, 2005 of Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Tramley (nee Ash), of Charlottetown and formerly of Pugwash, N.S. and Saint John, N.B., aged 75 years. Devoted mother of seven children; Mary Tramley-Campbell (Colin), Bob Tramley, Pastor David Tramley (Ruth), Bruce Tramley, Ellen Tramley-Seymour (Larry) and Becky Tramley (Daniel Lee). Betty will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her six grandchildren; Zachariah & Jonah Campbell, Jacob, Luke & Thomas Tramley and Megan Seymour. She was predeceased by her parents; P. Carl & Ruth (Jamieson) Ash, her daughter, Patty and brother, Carl B. Ash. Betty was born in Saint John, New Brunswick and studied Pharmacy at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She raised her seven children in Pugwash, Nova Scotia until settling in P.E.I. in 1970. She was a dedicated professional working as a pharmacist at Lords Pharmacy, City Drug and Shopper's Drug Mart in Charlottetown until her retirement in 1998. Resting at The Cutcliffe Funeral Home, 33 Longworth Avenue, Charlottetown, P.E.I. (902-894-4433) from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. with her son Pastor David Tramley officiating. A public interment will be held in The Palmerson Cemetery, Pugwash, Nova Scotia on Friday, September 30th, at 1:30 p.m. Memorials in Betty's memory can be made to The P.E.I. Humane Society or The Multiple Sclerosis Society. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Due to allergies, please refrain from the use of scented products or heavily scented floral donations.
