Point de Bute, N.B. - Albert Jones, age 96, of Point de Bute, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Point de Bute, he was a son of the late Alvin and Eva (Ogden) Jones. Albert is survived by his brother Arthur of Upper Kent, Kent Co., N.B. He was predeceased by brothers, Bliss, Lester, Edgar, Ernest; and sisters, Hazel, Dorothy, Evelyn and Marion. Arrangements were entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours took place Thursday. The funeral was held at the funeral home on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 11 a.m., Pastor Hal Lowther officiating.
