Passed away suddenly while on vacation in Halifax on Tuesday, July 15, 2008. David Wicks, aged 58 years. Predeceased by his parents, Esther and Claude Wicks; brother Herb and his brother-in-law Jim Colbert. Left with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 35 years, Mary (Patsy); his only daughter, Natasha (Jason); his pride and joy, his grandson Nathan; sisters: Amelia Colbert, Martha Wicks and Claudette Brown (Lloyd); nieces and nephews: Claude (Judy), Sharon (John), Keith, David and special nephew Colin; his best buddy Dave Hawkins; as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. At Dave's request cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to the Wicks family, the Janeway Children's Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
