Anthony Arsenault

SACKVILLE, N.B. - The death of Anthony Arsenault, 93, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Born in Bedeque, PEI, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Josephine Arsenault. Leaving PEI at age 18, after teaching himself English, he was employed with Record Foundry, Moncton and moved to Sackville in 1967 to work at Fawcett Foundry. Anthony will be sadly missed by four daughters, Jeannette, Alice (Ronnie) Ricker, Helen (Jerry) Brine and Yvonne (Jimmy) Sterling, all of Sackville; two sons, Paul (Susan), Amherst, N.S., and Fred (Doris) of Sackville; 10 grandchildren, Tammy, John, Coral, Jamie, Gerald, Amelia, Larry, Cynthia, Daisy and Tony; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret MacLennan, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys; daughter, Betty; infant son, Tony; grandchildren, Louise and Angel Dawn; and one great grandchild, Cassandra. The remains were entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300) from where visitation was held on Thursday, March 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Friday, March 2, at 11 a.m., Pastor Hugh Davidson officiating.
