Helen Carson-Earle

The death of Helen Carson-Earle, 79, occurred suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2007. Born in Truro, NS, Helen was the youngest daughter of the late William and Ada (Milligan) Hodge. Most recently, Helen enjoyed participating in the Seniors for Seniors program in Ontario. She was a member of the Legion and loved attending the many functions and dances. Helen will be sadly missed by three sons, Brian (Colleen) of Calgary, Paul (Debbie) of Bolton, ON, and Terry of Moncton; one daughter, Debbie Walton of Sackville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews including one in particular, Donna McNutt of Truro; and a very close friend, Maureen Armstrong of Ontario. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Vance Carson; her longtime companion Bill Earle; 18 brothers and sisters; and one grandson, Chance Carson. Helen's remains have been cremated under the care of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, N.B. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral. A memorial service will be held in Helen's hometown of Truro, N.S. in the spring. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
