Russell James Harper of Shirley Ave. Moncton, N.B. passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Born in Port Elgin, N.B. on March 24, 1935, he was the son of the late Christopher and Cora (Fields) Harper. He worked most of his life for the federal government, retiring from Supply and Services Department in Shediac. He is survived by his wife, Alphena (Martin) Harper; son, James (Lucie) Harper of Moncton; sister, Dorothy (Dorsey) Polly of Upper Cape; sister-in-law, Evelyn Harper of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Jerry Harper. At his request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
