BASIL M. FLEMMING

FLEMMING, BASIL M. - The death of Basil M. Flemming, husband of Barbara (Talk) Flemming of Buena Vista Ave., Saint John occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 28, 2006. Born in Woodstock, NB, he was a son of the late Sprague and Maude (Phinney) Flemming. Basil was an investment broker for many years and spent the greater part of his life in Saint John. He was a member of St. Mark's United Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Terry Trecartin (Marion), David Trecartin (Karen), both of Rothesay and Mark Trecartin (Diane) of Grand Bay-Westfield, three daughters, Joy Crosby (Jim) of Rothesay, Pamela Flemming (Chris Wills) of Millidgeville and Wendy Horsler of Saint John West, two sisters, Marilyn Brown (Bonner) of East Glasvillle, NB and Catherine Donovan (Charles) of Woodstock, NB, Grandchildren, Michelle, Sara, Sinead, Todd, Kate, Sarah, Jennifer, Laura, James, William, Courtney, Cecila, Lori, Jaclyn and Devin, one great great granddaughter, Paige and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters. Although there is no visiting at the funeral home, friends are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held at St. Mark's United Church, Dexter Drive, Saint John on Sunday, Decem,ber 31, 2006 at 2 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of A.W.
