SMITH, E. MAE - Mrs. E. Mae Smith of Andrews Lodge, Charlottetown, PEI, formerly of 11 Balfour Street, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Raymond A. Smith, died on Friday, February 2nd, 2007 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PEI. Born in Campbellton, PEI the daughter of the late John A. and Laura (MacAusland) MacMillan. She had resided in Saint John from 1945 to 2002. She was a member of Central United Baptist Church and the Monday Night Club. She had been employed with the NB Government for 16 years. Survived by one son, John Raymond; daughter-in-law, Sharon (Price) of Cornwall, PEI; grandson, Kevin and wife Erika (Croft) of Halifax, NS; granddaughter, Kimberley of Toronto, ON; and great grandson, Connor of Halifax, NS. Also survived by sisters, Eva Playford, Owen Sound, ON, Margaret Sunley, Toronto, ON, Kathleen Newson, Burlington, ON, Ruby Whyte, Charlottetown, PEI; one brother, Keir (Catherine) MacMillan, Toronto, ON; brother-in-law, Bill Scopis, California; sister-in-law, Vera Smith, Charlottetown, PEI; brother-in-law, Reginald (Dot) Smith, Saint John, NB and Clair (Judy) Smith, Charlottetown, PEI; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Florence King, Annie Scopis; and brothers-in-law, Doug Smith and Calvin Smith. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visiting hours on Tuesday, February 6th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 7th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
