TRAIL, BETSY MARION - The death of Betsy Marion Trail of Bedell, wife of L. Joe Trail, occurred on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born at Glassville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Beulah M. (Briggs) Hamilton. In addition to her husband, Betsy is survived by her children, Dana Sibley (Emily) of Moncton, Shawn Sibley (Sarah) of Teeds Mills, Sheila Pike (Arnold) of Temperance Vale, Frederick Trail (Beth) of Saint John, and Jeffrey Trail (Robin) of Benton; three brothers, Weldon Hamilton (Brenda) of Lower Brighton, Dwayne Hamilton (Carol) of Jacksonville, and Donald Hamilton of Jacksonville; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betsy was predeceased by her first husband, Gerald Sibley; two sisters, Ferne and Emily; and by two brothers, David and Hazen. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from the Jacksonville United Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Wellwood will be officiating, assisted by Rev. Stephen Hoyt, with interment in the Grafton Cemetery.
