DOW, BARBARA ANITA - Barbara Dow of Loch Lomond Villa passed away quietly on Sunday, July 22, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Mary (Leblanc) Elward and the wife of Dalton Dow. Besides her husband, she is survived by six sons, Rick Dow (Patricia), Ronald Dow (Judy), James Dow (Karen), David Dow (Larisa), Andrew Dow, all of Saint John, Shawn Dow (Stacey) of Moncton, two daughters, Sharlene Despres of Summerside, PEI, Christine Curran (John) of Saint John, thirteen grand children and eight great grand children. She was predeceased by one brother, Richard Elward. A service will be held from Cavanagh's Chapel at 11 am Wednesday, July 25, 2007 followed by internment in St. Joseph's Cemetery and a reception at Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster St. (634-1712). Visiting will be on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. www.cavanaghfh.ca
