GUIMOND, EDWARD "EDDY" JOSEPH - Passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, September 10, 2007. He was the son of Aline (Chevarie) and the late Edward Guimond. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 1386, employed at the Irving Oil Refinery. He was also a member of the Branch#2 Legion. Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Darlene (Halsall) of 22 years; three brothers, Donald (Mary), Rheal (Kathy), and Joseph Leo (Leah); three sisters, Odette McCarthy, Pauline (Doug) Nicol, and Dorina (Kevin) Doyle; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his father, Eddy, was predeceased by a brother, Omer Guimond. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) with visitation on Thursday, September 13, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, with a legion service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 12:00 pm from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
