71, Sydney We, the son and daughter of the late Divina Creighton, are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our darling mother and friend, which occurred Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in South Bar, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Hazel (Crane) Richardson. Divina is survived by her loving son, Kenneth (Willena), New Waterford; and a loving daughter, Margaret (Paul), Sydney; sister, Verna Baird, Ontario. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Michelle Creighton, Margaret ‘Mugsie’ Creighton, Mark Creighton, Melissa Leroy and Cara Leroy, as well as three great-grandchildren, Kendall McKenzie, Kenzie Creighton and Parker Burke. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert, in infancy, five sisters, Helen Phillips, Lillian Larick, Sharon Ritchie, Donna Hatt, Noreen Richardson, four brothers, Roy, Ralph, Delbert and Earl Richardson. She was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, George and Gertrude Crane, paternal grandparents, Arthur and Francis (Wyman) Richardson. Cremation has taken place.
