DAVIS, ROBERT JAMES "BOB" - Bob Davis, 72, of Springdale, NB, died tragically on July 3rd, 2008 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Percy and Greta (Gibbs) Davis. Bob retired as a Staff Sergeant (regiment #19077), after many years of service with the RCMP. He is survived by one daughter, Helen Davis (Jon Mullin), Dartmouth, NS; one son, William "Bill" Davis (Adrienne), Ottawa, ON and their mother, Elizabeth Simon; five grandchildren, Andrew, Jamie, Nikki, Nathan and Maximilian James; two brothers, Stewart Davis, Carleton Place, ON and Walter Davis, Hampton, NB; many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by one sister, Sandra Levine. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Reid's Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB (506) 832-5541, with visiting Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held from Reid's chapel, Wednesday, July 9th, 2008, at 11:00 am. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery , Saint John, NB.
