LAWLOR, SHARON (NEE MCMANUS) R.N. - Peacefully, after a brief illness on Sunday August 10th, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Lawlor, mother and mother-in-law, to Andrew; and Lesley Lawlor; Grandmother, to Aidan; and Callum Lawlor; sister and sister-in-law, to Claire; and Bob Burns; daughter, of the late William and Gertrude McManus of Saint John New Brunswick; and Aunt, partner and friend to many. A registered nurse by training and caregiver by calling. Sharon served the community as Executive Director of Participation House Markham for the past 16 years, and previously with Unionville Home Society in Unionville. Visitation will be on Thursday August 14, and Friday August 15th 7-9PM at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, (Markham Rd), Markham, Ontario Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 5633 Hwy 7 Markham, Saturday August 16 at 11 AM, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
