Crompton and daughter of the late Berton and Carrie (Gillman) Johnston. Survived by her children, Larry (Barb) Crompton of Oregon, USA, Sandra Winchester of Saint John, NB and Wayne (Joyce) Crompton of Quispamsis, NB; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Irving of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews; and special niece Marie Firlotte of St Stephen, NB. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 2pm from Kirk McColl United Church, King Street, St Stephen, NB. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB on Monday, October 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Interment at St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, NB.
