KENNEDY, MATTHEW QUENTIN - The death of Matthew Quentin Kennedy, age 29, occurred at his residence in Kars, on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. He was born in Sussex, on April 30, 1979, the son of Edward and Gertrude (Ferris) Kennedy of Kars, NB. He is survived by his parents; brothers Eddie and Della Mae of New Caledonia, David and Angela of Honeydale, NB, Daryll of Midland, and Terry and Sally of Kars; sisters Krista Kennedy of Drury's Cove, Angela and Stephen Greenslade of Sussex, and Rebekah Kennedy and Greg Kaye of Sussex; maternal grandmother Ernestine Ferris of White Cove; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Karen Kennedy. He is resting at Outreach Pentecostal Church, Hatfield Point, NB, with visiting on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 11, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. from Outreach Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point. Donations to a Living Memorial or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
