THERESA GERMAIN SPELLMAN

SPELLMAN, THERESA GERMAIN - Theresa Germain Spellman, 75 years, passed away on Friday January 9, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1934 in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Albertine (LaPrade) Ouellette. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Owen Terrance Spellman; daughter Barbara Rooney (October 2008); grandson David Spellman Jr. (August 2004) brothers Benjamin Ouellette and Rene Ouellette; sisters Rita Caissey, Marie Stirling, Anna Mae Rosengreen, Regina Rollins, Eleanor Ouellette and Beatrice Keyeux. She is survived by her sons Mike of Saint John, Brian (Cindy) of Bloomfield, David (Tracey) of Quispamsis and Owen of Quispamsis; daughters Gail Vaughan (Tom) of French Village, Catherine Buchanan (Matt Horne) of Hampton, Theresa Cunningham (Steven) of Saint John and Jackie Baker of Saint John; grandchildren: Mike Spellman Jr, Scott Spellman, Tom Vaughan, Mike Vaughan, Chelsea Vaughan, Matt Vaughan, Angie Buchanan, Josh Spellman, Nicholas Spellman, John Rooney Jr., Joseph Rooney, Jason Cunningham, Denise Williams, Cory Baker, Thomas Spellman and Owen Jacob Spellman; several great grandchildren; daughters-in-law Debbie Spellman and Cindy Spellman; son-in-law John Rooney; several nieces and nephews. Private family visitations will take place on Sunday. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Monday January 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
