Margaret Matilda Spencer, 83, Charlotte Street, Sydney, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Sydney.
Born in Port Morien, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Dillon) Spencer.
Margaret graduated from the Glace Bay General School of Nursing and was employed at the Sydney City Hospital until retirement.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Charles.
A visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday 1 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. Stephen Mills officiating.
