JOHNSON, ROYDEN STANLEY - The death of Mr. Royden Stanley Johnson, husband of the late Shirley (Allen) Johnson, occurred on November 22, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 15, 1922, he was the son of the late Edward Stanley and Gertrude Johnson. Mr. Johnson served as a pilot in the RCAF during WW II. He was then employed by NB Tel for 33 years, and had been active with the Telephone Pioneers of America. He is survived by his children; Sheila MacMillan (Dan Wolfenden) of Ottawa, Linda (Garth) Long of Sussex, Michael (Patti) Johnson of Saint John, and Karen (Marc) Gagnon of Quispamsis. His grandchildren are: Jillian (Keith) Seidler, Zachary Long (Amy Turner), Darah Long, Connor MacMillan (Amy Thorne), Dylan and Morgan Gagnon, Rebekah, Nicol, and Joshua (Rachel) Johnson, and his great-granddaughter, Adalyn Johnson. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West (634-1701) with visitation to be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 1 pm from Castle Fallsview Chapel. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of fellowship will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
