HUTCHESON, CHARLOTTE - After a courageous battle with cancer, the passing of Charlotte Hutcheson, wife of the late J.R.M. (Bob) Hutcheson occurred on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Zurich, Switzerland to Walter and Gertrud Reck. She is survived by her parents, one brother, Beat, his wife Irma, their son Daniel and his family, all of Switzerland. Charlotte delivered meals-on-wheels for many years, loved bowling, enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and traveled extensively. She also volunteered for the Red Cross for many years. Charlotte was involved with the Altar Guilds of St. James Church in Westfield and the new "Church of the Resurrection" in Grand Bay-Westfield. She will be sadly missed by many of her friends. By her request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held from the Church of the Resurrection, Grand Bay-Westfield on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 3:00 pm. Committal will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Woodman's Point at a later time. Remembrances may be made to the Church of the Resurrection, Meals-On-Wheels or the Canadian Red Cross and would be appreciated by the family.
