We regret to announce the passing of Patricia Ann Stamper, 68, of Edwardsville, which occurred Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (MacMullin) Donnelly.
Employed at the Smart Shop for 47 years until her retirement. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 126, Westmount.
She is survived by her brother, Barry; and her companion of many years, Frank Phillipo.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Natallie Marie in infancy, and brothers, Robert and Neil.
In honour of Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Holy Rosary Church, Westmount, with Fr. Dan MacInnis officiating. Reception to follow at Westmount Legion.
Donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Red Cross and Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional.
