Keith Douglas Allan, 64, Truro, passed away Feb. 4, 2009, at home.
Born in Montreal, Que., he was the son of the late Douglas and Lillian Allan.
He is survived by his daughter, Carrie (Shaun) Burke; and will always be remembered and loved by his grandson, Jordan; brother, Wayne; and stepmother Irene.
Keith’s wife Marilyn passed away in 2007 and it was her family that he considered his ‘heart’ family.
Keith and Marilyn are survived by her brothers, Gary (Louella) MacLeod, Ian (Helen) MacLeod and her sister, Colleen (Donnie) Sives; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
Carrie and Shaun would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of EMS Truro who tried so hard on the fourth to save Keith.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Kevin Richardson officiating. His final resting place will be in Sydney, N.S. at a later date beside his wife Marilyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia are gratefully appreciated.
