Julien Belliveau
Julien Belliveau 1918-2002 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father and friend Julien Belliveau, age 83 on Wednesday, June 26, surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Memramcook (Lourdes), NB, he was the son of the late Cyrille and the late Sylvie (née LeBlanc) Belliveau. He was a parishioner of NotreDame de la Paix Roman Catholic Church and had retired as a Correctional Officer from the Dorchester Penitentiary. He was a member of the club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe, the Memramcook Legion and he was a third degree Knight of Columbus, Council #11985. Mr Belliveau was an avid gardener and enjoyed wood carving in his spare time. Mr Belliveau leaves to mourn his wife Délia (née Boucher); five daughters, Jackie (Roger) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Anita (Warren) Folkins of Moncton, Lorraine Belliveau of Calgary, AB, Pat (Mike) Tower of Sackville and Roberta (Val) Hebert of Barrie, ON; two sons, Claude of Dieppe and Philip of Calgary, AB; one step daughter, Simonne (Richard) Keenan of Moncton; one step son Claude LeBlanc of Moncton; two sisters, Bibianne Leger of Ludlow, Mass and Lina Cormier of Port Arthur, BC; three brothers, Anselme of Renfrew, ON, Joseph (Roberte) of Ludlow, Mass, and Francis (Marie) of Memramcook East; ten grandchildren; two step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Robert in 1965 and by three sisters, Ozithe, Clarita and Rosa. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Thursday, June 27, 2002 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and from 6pm until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame de la Paix Roman Catholic Church (Vail Street) on Friday, June 28, 2002 at 7pm. Inurnment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Legion service scheduled for Friday at 2pm.
