Bruce R. Wood The death of Bruce Raymond Wood, 31 years, husband of Monique of Scarlet Avenue, Charlottetown, PEI and formerly of Moncton occurred, after a courageous year long battle with a brain tumor, at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday July 23, 2002. Born in Moncton August 31, 1970 he was the son of Raymond and Helena (Paschal) Wood. Bruce had graduated from Moncton High School in 1988 and for the past several years had been partners in Digitech Images of Charlottetown, PEI. A collector of sports memorabilia, Bruce enjoyed participating and watching all types of sports. In addition to his wife Monique (Hébert) and parents Raymond and Helena, he is survived by his son Garret Bruce at home; his sister Vicky (Philip) Barton; nephews Timothy and Tyler, all of Moncton; his father-in-law Alvin (Mary-Ann Gilks) Hébert of Saint John; sisters-in-law Claudine (Greg) Snow and niece Emma; Vicky (Stefan) Pelletier and nephew Alec and niece Danika all of Grand Bay; sister-in-law Sabrina Hébert of Dartmouth. He is also survived by life long friends Dino, Chad, Chris and Kevin. And several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law Claudia as well as special friends Dan Bourque and Linda DiBonaventura. The family will be receiving visitors at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852- 3530) 1177 Salisbury Rd. Moncton on Thursday July 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday July 26 at 1:30 pm at St. Bernard's Church, Botsford Street, Moncton with a reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation and interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined.
