Barbara Alice Walker 1937 2002 The death of Barbara Alice Walker, wife of Paul Walker, of Purdy Ave., Moncton occurred at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home on Friday November 22. Born September 9, 1937 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Burke) Scott. A homemaker, Barbara, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who loved knitting and reading poetry. In addition to Paul, her husband of over forty years, she is survived by her daughters Brenda Webb (Elliott) of Moncton, Carolyn Bourque (Kevin) of Broadview, Sask.; one son Dan Walker at home; one brother Bobby Scott (Gayle); seven grandchildren, Jason and Shaun Webb, Jennifer, Sarah, Emily, Tessa and Garett Bourque as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Shirley Bourque and a brother Ralph Scott. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton with visiting hours on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral will be held on Monday November 25 at 2 pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with a reception to follow in the family reception room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. www.fairhavenfh.com
